Dear Bible League friend,
More than ever, people want to ‘make a difference’. What runs through your mind when you hear that phrase? Most people think about providing money for food programs, education and housing for the poor. Although humanitarian aid is a vital part of making a difference, it’s not a permanent solution.
Jesus is the only everlasting solution. He is the bread of life and the living water that never runs out—in fact, there is an eternal supply!
When you provide God’s Word you are partnering with Christ to change the hearts and lives of people for eternity.
Jesus said, “Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4 NIV) I have seen this verse come to life throughout Bible League’s ministry. When people’s eyes are opened to the Word of God—the message of salvation—their lives are changed. God brings healing, restoration, freedom and forgiveness!
