The Project Philip Junior program in the Tamil and Sinhalese languages—initiated for the first time in 2006 in Sri Lanka—has successfully trained over 450 Sunday School teachers and engaged 1,311 young people to complete the evangelistic and discipleship Bible studies.
“Children enjoy these lessons very much!” says a Sunday School teacher. “The Project Philip Junior Bible study materials are helpful tools to teach the children the Word of God and to introduce them to Jesus Christ,” she says.
“Many children have come to know Jesus Christ as their Saviour…”
These results witness to the grace of God bestowed upon Bible League workers in Sri Lanka. Despite the mounting political tensions and religious oppression they experience, many seekers have come to know God. PROVIDE Bibles for persecuted Christians in Asia.
