"The fields are very difficult. Threats, discouragement and hostility try to limit the presence of Christians," says Bible League’s National Director in Senegal.
Encouraged by God’s Word in Isaiah 41:17-20, Christians in Senegal are committed to make this promise a reality to those who thirst for “living water” despite persecution.
In 2006, Bible League was able to place 74,900 Scriptures in Senegal, graduate 10,307 Senegal people from a Project Philip Bible Study and baptise 1,288 new believers.

"The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst.
But I the LORD will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.
I will make rivers flow on barren heights and springs within the valleys." (Isaiah 41:17-18a, NIV)
