there is a region where Bible League workers are faithfully proclaiming the Gospel. Local Christians are reaching tribal people despite difficulties and oppositions.
While the constitution provides all persons in this region the right to worship according to their own religion, it has been, since 1979, illegal to convert members of other faiths. There are 86% Muslims among the 234 million population but only 5.7% are Evangelical Christians. Churches throughout this region face severe persecution. Last year alone, 34 churches were attacked, destroyed or shut down.
We invite you to support persecuted Christians in this region by providing them with God's Word.
"When I receive a Bible from someone who lives in a free country, suddenly I feel a rushing sense of hope! The Bible says that someone out there cares about the hatred and persecution I experience every day. I am part of the Body of Christ...," says a persecuted Christians.
