ersecution in Ethiopia is real and immediate. However, God’s Word ignites in many persecuted Christians' hearts the passion to share the Good News in the midst of their suffering.
Since mid 2006 there was religious aggression in some targeted places in Ethiopia led by Muslim extremists. Churches were destroyed, houses were burnt and believers were forced to convert to Islam.
Recently, a Bible League-trained Church Planter was reported as being detained in Ethiopia because he tried to bring Bibles into an unreached community. Many Muslim seekers also face persecution for following Christ.
