kbed was desperate. He had been on numerous visits to doctors and witches to make his sick wife well. Nothing helped. All his life Akbed had believed that Christians were evil and their Bible was corrupt—but now there were no more options. Risking contempt from his family and friends, he would go to see Danil, a Bible League-trained Church Planter for prayer.
At the Bible study Akbed learned of God’s love. As his mind changed about Jesus, his life changed as well, so as his wife—who was healed in body and soul.
The need for Bibles in the Middle East is rapidly growing. Trying to lead a Muslim to Christ can attract persecution such as beatings, imprisonment or even death. Yet, nothing can stop the power of God through prayer and His Word. 
For decades, Bible League has provided churches around the world with evangelistic outreach and discipleship follow-up programs.
