Dear Praying Friend,
“Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12
The verse above came to my mind when I read the story about 11-year-old Kate from Russia in this month’s Enews.
What an amazing young girl and an encouragement to us all. Her story demonstrates that no one is too young to be impacted by God’s Word.
Providing Bibles, with Bible studies to help people understand the Bible, is a vital part of Bible League’s ministry work.
When the young, the persecuted, or those lacking in knowledge, understand what they read, they often grow to have far less fear and abundantly more faith.
Whether you consider yourself young, middle aged or old, we can be an example to other believers through what we talk about, through our actions, how we live our life and live out our faith.
It is something that’s not possible by our own efforts but only through the power of Christ and His Word in us.
Every Blessing,
Grahame Smith
