Bible League E-news
17/03/2008 Issue # 88 Past Issues
Dear Praying Friend,

“I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.” Philippians 3:10

Colourfully wrapped Easter eggs; hot cross buns; family barbeques—this is Easter in Australia.

For us, we know Easter is about Jesus, the significance of His death and resurrection.

Over these next few days, may you truly “know Christ” more, as your Bible reading focuses on Jesus’ salvation work on the cross.

In this month’s Enews you’ll read about how this ministry began on Good Friday 70 years ago, with the intention to place Bibles into homes without one.

We praise God that today, this ministry of making God’s Word available is reaching millions of people, in hundreds of language groups.

This Easter, will you help further this mission? People around the world will come into relationship with Jesus and be able to connect Easter with its true meaning—Jesus.

Will you pray for those who reach out and minister using God’s Word?

I pray that you may have a Christ-filled Easter.

Grahame SmithEvery Blessing,

Grahame Smith
National Director
