Vision 2020 to train 10 million people to reach 100 million people
The worldwide ministry of Bible League has set out its bold, new goal—Vision 2020 to train 10 million people to reach 100 million people worldwide using God’s Word.
Despite the work of every Bible-sharing ministry that exists today, the need for God’s Word—and training to share it—is staggering.
“Vision 2020 is Bible League’s response to our growing world-wide ministry and mounting requests for Bibles and training in God’s Word,” says the National Director of Bible League, Grahame Smith. “Millions of people throughout the world are longing to read God’s Word but they do not have access to, or cannot afford the Bible.
“This vision cannot be fulfilled without the help of our supporters. It’s through your prayers and gifts that we can reach this goal together.”
Bible League currently responds to the requests for Bibles in more than 60 countries. Bibles are placed with persecuted Christians, Christians who can’t afford or don’t have access to a Bible and people who are seeking to know more about Jesus. By placing God’s Word into the hands of those who are waiting, tens of thousands of people every year are coming into fellowship with Christ and His Church.
Through training and Bible studies in nearly 120 languages, Bible League strategically equips indigenous Christians to lead local people to Christ, growing God’s family in number and spiritual maturity.
“Our goal to reach 100 million for Christ is nothing without God’s blessing and guidance of His Holy Spirit,” says Grahame. “We greatly appreciate your support and prayers in fulfilling God’s vision for our ministry.”
