Dear Praying Friend,
"By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked: Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear."
(Isaiah 45:23b, NIV)
God has promised that one day every knee will bow before Him and every tongue will confess Jesus as Lord. This is a promise uttered in God’s own precious Word. But how can people swear their allegiance to Him without the Word of God being available to them?
In most western countries, there is a huge number of Bible versions available. We can even conduct a sophisticated Bible study using different English translations for comparison. But let us not forget that around the world there are still 196 million people—or 2,286 language groups—who don’t even have a single Bible verse translated in their heart language.
The need seems overwhelming and the task seems enormous. But God’s grace is great enough! He enables us to participate in His plan—to help more people have the opportunity to bow their knee before Him, through knowing His Word. We invite you to join us in making God’s Word available to those who are waiting.
