Ethiopia—Church Planter released

Several months ago we reported that a Bible League-trained Church Planter in Ethiopia was caught and detained for carrying Bibles into a Muslim area. Praise the Lord that after much prayer he is now released!

Moreover, he was then able to take more than 70 Bibles of a major Ethiopian language into that area. This particular language is spoken by more than 3.6 million people in Ethiopia. Now, many Ethiopians have seen for the first time a Bible in their heart language and they are earnestly studying God’s Word in the Bible study groups that were established.

Give great thanks to our God! Even with great challenges, we see the evidence of His mighty work and His faithfulness in answering prayer and protecting persecuted Christians.
