Bible League E-news
In This Issue #78
21 September 2007

From the National Director

Dear Praying Friend,

"For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds."
(2 Corinthians 10:3-4, NIV)

Prayer is never passive but is the most active ‘weapon’ Christians have as we engage in spiritual warfare. As we pray, we are calling on God’s mighty power to demolish strongholds. I am sure that you know that this is so true.

As you read this report, you will be encouraged by the news of the release of a Bible League Church Planter who was detained for carrying Bibles into a Muslim area. We thank God for this answered prayer!

Also, God’s powerful presence through His Word among persecuted Christians and Muslim seekers is encouraging.

I urge you to join us in prayer—using our most active ‘weapon’—to stand by our suffering brothers and sisters around the world.

Grahame SmithEvery Blessing,

Grahame Smith

National Director
