KENYA—Breaking down strongholds
Kenya seems to be a place of relative peace and stability when contrasted with its troubled African neighbours. But beneath the surface, everything isn’t as it seems. Within Kenya’s borders is an area on the Indian Ocean coast known throughout the world as a hub for child prostitution, the drug trade and witchcraft.
After completing his Bible League training, Kamau felt called to take God’s Word to the people of this area. He was led to a small village where the local witch doctor had oppressed the residents for decades. There, within the shadow of evil, Kamau dared to start a Bible study and spoke about the message of hope in Jesus.
And God has blessed him. Several people from the village are now attending the Bible study group and many have received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
